Incense?
« on: August 09, 2013, 10:47:07 AM »
I recently bought some incense and would like to burn it throughout the house, but I don't know if the scent is safe around kitties.  Does anyone know?  The place I bought it from has cats and they don't seem to mind it, but I thought it would hurt to ask.

Thanks!   :-* HeadButt

I'm not sure about pets, but are you SURE you want to burn it around YOU?

With cats being soooo sensitive to smells (and me too!), I wouldn't use incense.

I wouldn't.  Not only the smell, but the smoke.  Smoke is never good to inhale, no matter where it comes from.  And they won't just be breathing it, they will be ingesting it.

Smoke settles, and it will settle on their fur, which they will then wash and ingest.

It wasn't the smell, it's that when I come home from work I vent a lot, and I'm wondering if that kind of negative energy needs to be purged now and then.  I thought incense would be a good way to "cleanse" my place, but I returned the package that I had bought.
