Nope, I hated them both.  The first one, the white one, was total junk.  It broke in less than a year.  The manufacturer (not amazon) sent me a new one assuring me that this was a different batch and they tested it extensively.  It broke more quickly than the first one.  I got my money back from Amazon.

The second, glass one I didn't like at all and sent it back.

I am now using these two scales:

This one:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OIRSSU/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and the adapter:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002UKT4LE/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And this little one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001RF3XJ2/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I keep two going because the lcd display always ends up getting wet eventually and then the numbers are hard to read, so while one is drying out I have the other to use.

I actually like the smaller one better, I think it is more accurate, but one thing I did notice is the on/off button has gotten difficult to activate.

My advice on scales is always have a back up scale, because if you only have one and it breaks, you're stuck.

I've though of getting one of those little spring type old fashioned ones, for real emergencies.

Incidentally those two are narrowed down from six total that I've tried.  Three were ones I bought at Walmart (sucks), hated them all and brought them all back.

I look forward to hearing how the hARE tODAY GOES. wISH i HAD A BIG FREEZER SO COULD STOCK UP ON THAT STUFF.  i KNOW THEY HAVE boneless blends.

Sorry about the caps, too lazy to fix it.

PS I have been using those two American Weigh scales for just about one year. One of the benefits of ordering at amazon.  YOu can always check when you bought something. :)

Thanks for the scale info.  I think I'll hold off on it for now.  Brain fart....I have a postage scale.  If I move it to the kitchen, it will become a food scale.  ;)
I bought "with bones."  Should I not have?

Mazy is the only one here who can't have bones, so if I bought Hare Today I would have to buy wihtout bones. Jennie and Queen Eva would be fine with bones.

Thanks.  I THOUGHT I made the decision after "researching"... bones or no bones.  Can't wait to look back and say... "This is EASY."  :)

Received my order yesterday.  Soooooooo excited!!
It was on the Fed Ex truck from 7 am until 1:30 pm.  Yesterday's temp was 114/116 outside.  Imagine the heat INSIDE the truck.  Anyway... it wasn't frozen, but it was still VERY cold.
2 extra freezer packs were recommended.  I added 4 extra.  Glad I did.
Waiting for the freezer containers to arrive, so I can get rolling!  :)

I'm just glad I finally took the plunge.  Whether the raw chunk (frankenprey?) feeders agree, or not.
Making my own... even if I had the confidence that I would do it right, there were still the issues of being able to find the right proteins, organs, etc.
I would rather have ordered rabbit.  The cats and dog LOVE rabbit, but I have to work through the "ew" factor.  Silly7
One step at a time, is better than no step.  For me, anyway.

We've used the chunks/slabs, and then we've used the ground. Honestly, I can't see any difference at all in the boys. Easier is easier in my book. It's a LOT easier to weigh out ground meat than  it is trying to slice pieces off of something that's way too big.

I know lots of people who use Hare Today. One friend who does feed primarily prey model, but uses Hare Today several times a week to sneak raw egg yolk into the cats, because her cats won't eat raw egg yolk.  Fortunately my cats like raw egg yolk.
