The stoopid OP spelled "Elsey's" incorrectly, so all the subject lines have been edited in every post.  In case anyone is wondering why I edited all the posts.
It will be MUCH easier to do this sort of edit with the new and improved forum.  :)

So I bought the biggest bag of this stuff, and really it is not that great.  It is like cement on the bottom of litter pan. Im going to have to try somthing that is not like "cement"   Years ago I used to get litter in a 40lb box at Costco, it was good stuff, though I no longer have a membership there. :(

Sorry, you didn't like it.  Did you fill the litter box(es) with 3 or 4 inches, so the potty doesn't reach the bottom?  Being pretty much dust free and non perfume-y are the major selling points for me.  Also, it is the only litter (I've tried mannnnny) that all our felines now cover their deposits.

Also...
I noticed, at our home, some of our litter boxes are made of different kinds of plastic and/or have a coating.  The ones without the "coating" are more apt to have urine stick to the sides.

Just to be clear, you can use ANY litter you want to.  I'm not related to Dr. Elsey and I don't own stock in the company.   ;D

I do fill the boxes quite deep.  Yes I have two types of litterboxes, and it is sticking in the one older type, not the new one, but the new one has still a bit of the corn based litter in it.  :-\

MC,
Amazon finally lowered their price.  It also shows it is available for free shipping.  If you are interested...

I was a bit bummed when I saw that Elsey's has a scented litter.  (I thought maybe they went over to the "dark" side.  lol)  Never bought it, or considered it, because of it being scented.  However, I actually read up on it... it only gives off a scent AFTER the cat leaves the box.
I'll still stick to unscented, but I thought that was interesting.

The PetCo, by me, finally carries the Ultra (blue bag).  They used to only sell the Cat Attract.  I am fairly sure that was the norm… from what others have said.  Sooooo, if your PetCo didn't carry the Ultra before, you may want to check again.
