Found this great litter
« on: March 22, 2012, 06:36:49 PM »
So far so good...I have found a new litter. It is wheat based. No dust, clumps really good, and pretty good for odor control.
It is very similar to Worlds Best, but half the price. I just could not buy clay any longer after reading about silica, and sodium benzonite. I know there is the mycotoxins with grain, but I will just have to make sure I scoop alot more often.
In my opinion its the lesser of the evils.

We tried the wheat litter once and BK had an allergic reaction.  :(
I wish World's Best wasn't so expensive, but I recently had a problem with a coupon on their website and they were SO nice.  They mailed me 6 coupons for different sized bags.  I'm a fan!  I'm also wondering if we'll see prices come down a bit now that other companies are making corn litters.

We skipped using World's Best because of the corn.  Some have said that it draws ants and some cats are known to eat it.  With my group of felines...you bet one would want to eat it!
