Does anyone know what has happened to the protein/fat/carbs chart at catinfo.org?  It's empty.  :'(

That's so strange that I can't see it. I can see her other charts on PDF without any trouble.  And I never had any trouble viewing it before.

PS I guess I can just look at the phosphorous chart.  It seems to have the same information, just not in the same formation.

MC, sometimes I can't watch youtubes, or view stuff correectly, so restart Puter, and this is when I get prompts to update stuff, such as Adobe, or Java security...  maybe it takes restarting Puter to prompt some needed updates?

I use firefox and adobe.  Both are up to date. Java is turned off for security reasons, but it has been turned off for months, this not being able to view the carb chart is new. I can view all other pages and charts in her website.  Only not this one. I turn my computer off every night. :)

Thanks for the help.  It's still blank.

If you still can't get to it through your browser, I downloaded it and uploaded it to Mediafire for you to download:

http://www.mediafire.com/view/?1pmz892h29qpqpk

It won't stay there forever, but you can download it. If it opens in the browser, just look to the top right and look for the buttons in the top right side beside the Facebook and Twitter buttons.

The button (arrow pointing down) closest to FB and Twitter is the download button. Choose that and it will let you download the document.

Dee Dee I followed your link.  The chart is there but it all looks like this:

I have no clue...let me zip it up...then you download the zip to your computer and unzip the .pdf

I'm starting to think you need to uninstall your .pdf reader and re-install it though. It sounds like it's actually a software glitch.

Okay...download this, then unzip it:

If you STILL can't read it on your computer, then your software has a glitch. Uninstall and re-install Adobe Reader

Edit: I probably should have added, if it reads in Adobe Reader outside of Firefox...then your browser is the one with the glitch.

but the other charts come up without any problem in the catinfo.org site.

I'm not sure I know how to unzip a downloaded file.

Right-Click on it and you will usually find the "unzip" option. Or sometimes just double-clicking on it will open it.

If you still can't find it, free download: http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm WIN and MAC editions both there.

Just make sure you make it the default unzipper in the choices when installing. Then once you've installed that, when you right-click you WILL see the unzip option.

7Zip is cleaner and doesn't spam you for a license key, plus doesn't REQUIRE you to install it ;) but tbh, Windows has unzipping built-in to Windows Explorer. Just double-click the zip file and you can open the files in it.

That's why I told her "sometimes"...I've seen those wonderful Windows Updates actually disable it in the past. I hate those "Important" updates that come in large groups. Never know what will go wrong if you don't install them one at a time, and God forbid you don't do a System Restore Point before each one.
