Middle Child:
If you have to wear a raincoat to mow the lawn, it's too wet to mow.  Doh1

ThreeStep:
Now, why would you say that?

Middle Child:
I'm glad you asked.  Silly7

Because, from a personal point of view, since he cannot mow without making a mess on my flagstone walkway, when the grass is wet and the sidewalk is wet, it is much more difficult for me to clean up. Much of it simply sticks to the flagstones and will not come up with a broom at all.

ThreeStep:
Cutting spinach. Can you ask him to be more considerate or clean up?

Middle Child:
That's been done. It makes no difference.  He also mows down any wildflowers, including my daisy patch, unless I barricade them in a way that would take him more than a few minutes to get off the mower and move it.
