New posts are not showing up

Middle Child:
I have recently discovered I am missing a lot of new posts, when I use the "unread posts since last visit" option. They just aren't sowing up in the list.

I know I can use the second option "new replies to your posts" but I thought I would let the PTBs know that the "unread posts" feature is not working properly.
