Wet Food Time Span

How long before wet food should be fully digested?  The reason I ask, 6 hours after eating, our boy tossed up some of his food.

Hmmm... I guess it would depend on the food, but when amber was eating canned, it was about 9 hours after each meal that she would hit the litter box. I can't seem to find anything conclusive when I search for the information though.

Doesn't Amber eat canned and raw? Never mind...you make ground and feed raw "parts."   Doh1

From catinfo.org:

Cats have a much shorter transit time through their intestinal tract than humans do (about 12 - 16 hours for the cat versus 35-55 hours for the human)

I hope this helps!   ;D

Thank you both.  Not sure why I assumed it should have been a shorter time frame.

Oh...and why am I NOT surprised that I could have found the info at www.Catinfo.org.   Bumpurr1
