Normally I order non-course ground with bones and organs...various proteins. My theory at the time...the "mushy" raw would be more like the can pate that my bunch was used to. I wanted to make the transition to raw, as easy as possible... on all of us. :)
My order yesterday.. I ordered a few pounds of course ground with bones and organs. It will be interesting to see if the texture difference is a huge difference or not. And if the cats and dog will even care. I know the dog (Lacy) won't.

The rabbit with fur included, was on sale again. I thought about it, but just couldn't go through with it. I've come a long way... but hairy food would probably just push me back 2 steps. lol
On a serious note... anyone know why the stomach and intestine are removed? And is that a good thing?

The stomach and intestines are removed because the bacteria therein can break down certain nutrients in the food.... there was something about a taurine deficiency in cats fed raw rabbit when the stomach and intestines were included. I will try to find it.

Thanks, Amber. Interesting info.
