AGGGHHH, that was today! Damn, so sorry I missed it!

I know, the fasting in the morning is AWFUL! I just didn't feed anyone, until I got home from dropping Mazy off.

So glad she is on her way home now!!!

Can't wait to hear al about it!  Can't wait to hear how she changes after a few days.  Any extractions?

Glad to hear it. You both need rest now.

I'm glad she's okay.  She'll be even better tomorrow (esp. when she's allowed to have her breakfast  :D).

I'll keep this post somewhat brief for now, or my head will explode.

The vet didn't speak to me, when I picked up Lola.  I was given an antibiotic for her.  No pain meds.  One tooth (back molar) was removed because it was cracked.  Her anal glands didn't need expressing.  Her ears were cleaned and her nails were trimmed.  No x-rays were done of her teeth.

Lola ate all her lunch and dinner yesterday, and breakfast today.  She seems do be doing well.

Thanks for the update! I smiled at the anal glands being expressed.  It's a good idea, having it done when they are under, isn't it?  If needed anyway.

How's Lola-cat been feeling since her dental?  Is she back to her usual self?   HeadButt HeadButt

No pain meds?  Is that the norm?  I'm kinda surprised . . .  :-\

Our previous vet gave pain meds, but no antibiotics.  When I asked about pain meds, I was told she was given a super duper shot of pain meds already and should be fine.  I have a high tolerance to pain yet I still have been known to take something OTC when having a tooth pulled.

I wasn't told if she had any resorption issues going on either.  She did last dental.

Can a vet TRULY know what is going on with a cat's teeth with no x-rays?
