I don't "get" the actual commercial though.
I see why they wanted him to be the spokesperson thank to The Lincoln Lawyer and all that hype from the movie that I really did enjoy.
As far as not "getting" the commercial, I think it might be some artsy-fartsy statement on where he came from? (Texas) Since the first commercial in the series is talking about going back where you came from in it. Maybe there's a subliminal message in there about not stressing when life throws you
and they're suggesting that the Lincoln is a relaxing enough experience to not mind taking the long way?
