I have probably watched it 20 times.  I laugh every time.  I don't "get" the actual commercial though.   :-\  I know it is an advertisement for Lincoln, but my comprehension pretty much stops there.

I see why they wanted him to be the spokesperson thank to The Lincoln Lawyer and all that hype from the movie that I really did enjoy.

As far as not "getting" the commercial, I think it might be some artsy-fartsy statement on where he came from? (Texas) Since the first commercial in the series is talking about going back where you came from in it. Maybe there's a subliminal message in there about not stressing when life throws you  BSbaloney and they're suggesting that the Lincoln is a relaxing enough experience to not mind taking the long way?

Then there's the possibility that Ellen is totally right. Someone was eating some REALLY good brownies when they were conceiving this commercial series:

Then there's:

Huh?

I didn't know there were a series of commercials.  Maybe the next one will shed some light. :)

You've not seen the movie "The Lincoln Lawyer"?  You should put it on your "to watch" list on those family nights. It was pretty good.

Ok, I will.  Have you seen Mudd or Dallas Buyers Club?  Both good.  I'd watch Sesame Street, if Matthew McConaughey was on it.

LOL. Me too. I've seen everything he's done. Even if the movie sucks, I'd listen to his voice forever.
