My heart goes through a complete-workout when I read things like that, then see things like this:

The stupidity of people astounds me, especially in this generation of "GET A VIDEO!"

A. It's impossible for me to fathom putting a child in danger like that.

B. It's beyond my comprehension of teaching a child that treating animals like that is funny.

Yep, that's the video that inspired me seeing the link I posted.  I read about it elsewhere.  Disgusting isn't it? And the adults are LAUGHING.  They won't be laughing when that kid loses his face.

The video of the dog and small child makes me VERY sad.  Obviously, the female adult and whoever is taping think it is cute.  Even THE BEST dogs have a boiling point.  The fact that the dog wants some of the food that the adult female is eating... makes the situation that much more risky.

Is the dog in the first link the same dog in the video?

No, separate stories.  I saw the video posted in another forum, and one of the posters in the ensuing thread posted the link I shared here.
