Went to see it at the movies today with DD. It wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but I wouldn't' say that it is worse than the original. It is just geared to a younger-than-me-generation.
Same story line, for the most part. No disappointing changes anyway. I think just two songs were from the original. The dancing...waaaaaaaaaay different, but lots of variety!
Overall, it was a nice mother/daughter outing. :)
