Look how this woman set it up for the litterbox
« on: August 09, 2014, 06:09:45 PM »
I'm watching "World's Smallest Pets" on NatGeoWild right now, and I thought this was pretty cool for a litter box system that ends up with the cats cleaning the litter off their feet at the end of their box-trip. Thought some of you might like to see it. These Bambinos have over-the-top great living.

Well, geez you don't need a cabinet for that.  My cats jump down from their litter boxes onto a yoga mat, which grabs most of the litter off their feet as they land.  Any left comes off as they trot across the length of the mat. :)

I love the yoga mat.  Sweeps and wipes down so easy.  I replace it once a year.

She said she has seen some ugly human children, BUT she doesn't say anything!  Funny....

I thought the entertainment/litter box idea was kinda cool!   :)  I would love to have disguised litter boxes.

I think the only thing that would keep litter pieces from tracking, would be a sticky rug.  lol  I have different rug material and rug lengths in front and/or under of every litter box.  I still vacuum every day... the pieces that "get away."

I think the yoga mat acts like a "sticky rug".

I just don't like the idea of enclosed litter boxes.

I don't either, but I can't get the "shooters" to not pee on the wall!  That reminds me... have to update a thread.
