Gah. Why can't election day be in the summer when it's light out. I hate going to the polls in the dark.
-
Not to get political - it may have a reason for being dark out there. I will go this morning, SO after work.

We do the mail in voting. SOOOOOO much easier. No stamp required either.. can't get any easier than that! ;D

I noticed your avatar and kept meaning to ask about it. I'd never heard of mail in voting but I sure like the sound of it. I'm going to look into that next time.

For early or mail in voting info:

Every state’s voting rules are different.

Here is a map that shows the different voting options allowed by each state:

Well poop. No early voting in my state and excuse required for voting by mail. Thanks Lola you saved me a lot of trouble!
I went straight after work instead of stopping home to feed Mazy cat first like I usually do. It was better, because at least I didn't have to go in the dark. The parking lot where I vote is not lit, and it is very unpleasant and creepy in the dark, not to mention very difficult to find a parking place, dark or day light. No parking lines or anything like that, just a quagmire of mud with everyone parking however they want (many big pick up trucks and giant suvs).

I voted on my way to work. fingerscrossed

I'm glad it is over!!
My cell phone number used to be the house landline number. Therefore, I got alllllllllllll the political calls for everyone in the household...currently and previously. Democrats and Republicans. After the last few days, I hate them all. Silly7

Better election calls then Card Services.
It was really well organized here. In and out. I actually changed citizenship a bit back to be able to vote.
