When I let Lacy dog out to go potty, Arrows (cat) darted out the door...into the backyard. In a panic and running after him... Lacy RAN across Arrows path. She slowed him down, but I missed. Lacy ran across his path a second time. I caught him.
I don't think I would have realized that Lacy did it on purpose, if she hadn't done it twice.
I was STUNNED, thankful...and so proud of her!
This darting carp is fairly new...last 6 months or so. We caught on to most of his darting tricks (he stayed one step ahead of us for a long time) to get into the garage, so I guess he has decided to change it up a bit.
Garage tricks:
If human's hands are full... opportunity to run!
If humans are yapping to each other...opportunity!
If humans are watching for him... plan ahead. The sound of car keys is a sign the door will be opening soon...hide behind litter box that is near door. Dart as soon as door is open an inch or so.
Soooo now that we know he watches us and knows our habits... we have to constantly change how, when, and what door... for when nature calls for Lacy.
