Found Some Interesting Dog Stories

I found out all about "Telling America’s stories through its dogs."

There is a link on each page of "Older Entries" at the end of a story, and there are a lot of short-stories on American Canines in history.

I'm not able to concentrate well enough yet to get back to reading any of my books, but these stories are working for me right now.
"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semihuman. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog." Edward Hoagland
"Thorns may hurt you, men desert you, sunlight turn to fog; but you're never friendless ever, if you have a dog."

Thank you, Pookie.

At least I found out why my brain is so squirrely at the Dr's this afternoon. It's all the freaking steroids they've been giving me. Thank goodness today was the last day of them!

Have to take another round of antibiotics because unbelievably I still have an ear infection, but compared to everything else they've been giving me,  Augmentin is tame.

Finally I managed to walk the whole perimeter of 3 acres a couple of times today . That's progress with my stamina at least. I can't say I'm the happiest of campers right now though.
