Church Sign
« on: July 19, 2018, 11:23:20 PM »
On the billboard of a church I pass on my way home from work:

Come on in.
We have "prayer conditioning."

Otherwise the congregation would be dripping.

The latest billboard:

Our church is soul-ar powered by the Son.

I kept meaning to post this (it's changed a couple of times since they had this one up) and kept forgetting  ::):

Does anyone remember mass with rock bands instead of choirs?

Yes.  We had a rock mass on Saturday nights. Kid bands though, nothing professional. Since I grew up next to the church we rarely missed mass (we rented the house that used to be the local convent, from the church) so it was fun to go on Saturday nights. Though they usually weren't very good, no one cared.

Thanks for the memory!

Pookie I love that church! Or at least, whoever it is who does the billboards!
